We Exist, Because YOU Exist.

The SET Collective exists to empower Chicago’s creative community by providing a collaborative space where ideas thrive, connections flourish, and innovation takes center stage. Our 7,000 sq. ft. facility is designed to inspire and support creatives in fashion, music, and beyond.

We value inclusivity, creativity, and connection, fostering an environment where talent is nurtured, opportunities are shared, and the “rising tide lifts all ships” mentality drives us forward. At The SET Collective, we don’t just create—we elevate.

Why We Exist: The Story

When founder Cam Frank moved to Chicago from Atlanta, she didn’t know a single person. Fresh out of college and building her first business, Clutch Creations, Cam had never stepped into corporate America. Instead, she relied entirely on her ability to network, connect, and carve out a path as a creative entrepreneur.

She searched for a space where creatives could meet, share resources, and grow together. One well-known “creative hub” promised that connection — but despite multiple referrals and qualifying for the under-27 membership discount, she was waitlisted.

What Cam found instead were scattered, disconnected options: photo studios in one place, recording studios in another, and event venues somewhere else entirely. There was no single space where creatives could collaborate across disciplines, showcase their work, and truly feel part of a community.

So she built it.

The SET Collective was born out of both frustration and vision — a desire to create a space where creatives no longer had to be “starving artists” forced to buy every piece of equipment before even trying it. Here, members can explore new mediums, use professional tools, and experiment without the financial or logistical barriers that often hold them back.

For SET members, the transformation is more than practical — it’s emotional. It’s the feeling of belonging. The relief of not having to figure it all out alone. The spark of inspiration that comes from being surrounded by people who understand the creative grind and are living it too.

Five years from now, The SET Collective aims to be remembered as a launchpad — the place where careers took shape, collaborations were born, and artists found the confidence to keep going.

This is a community built for the do-ers. The ones who bet on themselves. The creatives who know their art is a calling, not a fallback.

The SET Collective exists so no creative has to build their vision alone.
